Fly from Ancona to Madrid this Christmas with Volotea’s new direct route

The route will be available twice a week, every Monday and Friday.

After the Christmas period, the route will also be operated in May, June, September, and October 2026.

Falconara, 19 December 2025 – Today marks the take-off of the first flight on the Ancona–Madrid route, operated by Volotea, the airline of small and medium-sized European cities. The route will be available throughout the Christmas holiday period with two weekly frequencies, every Monday and Friday. But that’s not all: the connection will reopen in spring and autumn next year, with flights scheduled in May, June, September, and October 2026, thus offering several travel opportunities to discover the Spanish capital.

With this new connection, the number of international destinations served by Volotea from Ancona airport rises to three: Paris Orly and Barcelona, both operated twice a week. Completing the offer from Ancona are also domestic connections to Catania and Olbia.
